What a blast! Daniela and I had taken Noah skiing a couple months ago at Thunder Ridge, and we had a great time. It was more about getting comfortable in the gear and less about actually hitting the slopes. D and Noah skied the bunny slopes a few times and Noah ate his first ever Dippin’Dots. Yummy…

Snow tubing at Mt Peter was a new adventure and turned out to be pretty successful. They have a great little tykes area for young kids and toddlers and a bigger mountain for next level type of fun. Noah just met the 36″ height requirement for the big mountain and he wanted to ride the little ski escalator/walkway thingie, so we gave it a whirl. He LOVED it. After each run Noah would look stunned and then say “more?!”….

It was a cold and windy day, but we had such a great time.

  1. My partner and I ran an adventure group for 12 years and Snow Tubing was a regular winter activity, but we never tried it. Somehow, tubing down a dry ski slope in the south of England doesn’t have the same appeal as on real snow. Next time I’m in skiing in the USA I’ll be sure to check it out!
